Photo 0017, Photograph of the Victoria Hotel, Victoria Avenue, Chard, Somerset , taken prior to October 1973. The hotel was built in 1891. Investigated in 2004 and told demolished within the last few years. Now a site of residential flats and there is a roundabout where the road is shown here. Photograph of the White Horse, Chard.  Shot taken pre 1975.  The road sign is not from the local Highways Department but is an RAC sign telling us we are about to cross the A30 on the way to Taunton. Slides and negatives are scanned to give a file size of between 100 and 120 Mb and then printed on an EpsonStylus 1290 Photo A3 printer at 1440 dots per inch. Prints are  made on matt  heavy art paper unless glossy is requested.
