Photo 1707. The Eden Project is worth a visit at any time of the year,
remembering that external weather plays no part with your enjoyment or the
state of the plants - November, without the crowds, is the time we chose.
The experience is not comparable with anything else and is hard to describe
in words. You obviously have the feeling that you are in a heated area but
for a lot of the time, the glass is so far away from you that you forget
that you are in a greenhouse. The Mediterranean house was great as it felt
as though you were walking through Greece, seeing the herbs and shrubs that
you were familiar with, but each being labelled - very educational. The viewpoint
in this photo is the top of the waterfall in the tropical house, looking
down on lush vegetation. Wear layers and keep adding / subtracting to keep
yourself comfortable. This particular shot, taken in 2001. The original,
