Photo 1638. Taken from the bridge over the River Avon at Fordingbridge, Hampshire, England this river weed makes interesting and flowing patterns. I stared for a good while trying to spot a trout but with no luck. In my house this forms an abstract in A3 with the eye travelling from top left to bottom right. This particular shot, taken in 1998. Photo 1636. This was taken just North of Ringwood on the River Avon near Fordingbridge, Hampshire, England and, instead of trying to get the exposure correct for the geese, as they were seen in silhouette to the naked eye, I measured the exposure from the sky. I particularly enjoy the way that each goose is on a different part of the wingbeat. This particular shot, taken in 1998, in tiff format has a file size of 29.4 Mb. Photo 1639. This pony caught my eye as I was driving through (very slowly) the New Forest, hampshire, England, again on business headed toward New Milton. I am not a horse expert but it seems to me that these wild ponies have more character to them and certainly enjoy a more varied coat than their cousins who are bred for a purpose. Within minutes of spotting the pony above and stopping to take his pic, I spotted also this one, marked with a red ear-tag. presumably someone in the New Forest is keeping an eye on these magnificent animals.
